Genevieve Akoury

Educational Assistant

Genevieve Akoury is an Educational Assistant at Listen and Talk. Genevieve is excited to begin her journey with Listen and Talk as an educational assistant. She grew up in California and moved to Washington in 2019 to attend Seattle Pacific University, where she earned her degree in Special Education. She quickly fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to stay after graduating. Genevieve has several years of experience working with children both with and without disabilities and is passionate about supporting their growth. She worked as a toddler teacher for two years and is a strong advocate for all children. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks, crocheting, spending time with friends, and running.
