Birth to Three Specialist

Olivia Ponzetti, MA, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT, is a Birth to Three Specialist at Listen and Talk. Olivia first became involved with Listen and Talk as an intern while pursuing her masters in speech-language pathology. Once she graduated in 2018, she happily join the Birth to Three team as she is passionate about supporting children with hearing differences using listening and spoken language! Olivia strongly believes in the power of play and love to support kids and families as they learn about their world through play and their interactions/relationships.

In addition to being a Birth to Three provider, Olivia supported family engagement efforts as a Family Engagement Specialist from 2020-2024. She adores being a Birth to Three provider. Every day Olivia is am honored to work directly with families using caregiver coaching strategies to empower families to be their child’s first and best teacher! In her free time Olivia enjoys going to theatre (especially musicals), playing board games, solving escape rooms, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.

Favorite Sound: The waves crashing on the shore at the Oregon Coast

Favorite story from working at Listen and Talk: I love hearing from the families I have worked with once they are alumni! For example, seeing pictures of a student I knew as an infant as they confidently march into Kindergarten on the first day makes me so proud.
