Birth to Three Specialist

Kristin is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Listen and Talk. Kristin joined the Listen and Talk team in 2009 and has worked with the birth-to-three and preschool teams. She has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Western Washington University. Kristin holds certificates as a LSL Auditory-Verbal Therapist, a parent coach through the Hanen Parent Coaching Programs of “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More than Words” and is also trained in PROMPT technique. While she enjoys all facets of being a speech and language pathologist, she particularly likes the collaboration that takes place between families and various providers both within and outside of Listen and Talk.  She is amazed to see each child she serves light up as they are learning and loves to incorporate books, imagination, and play into her sessions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, sea kayaking and exploring the outdoors.
