Kelsey Wood

Teacher of the Deaf

Kelsey Wood is a special education teacher at Listen and Talk’s Blended Classroom Program for preschool children who are deaf and hard of hearing. She works at the Kirkland campus. She has both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work, as well as her teaching credential in Special Education.

Kelsey also provides support to students and staff as the Behavior Support Specialist. She is passionate about working with students with dual-diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD, and supporting their educational goals.

Outside of work, Kelsey cherishes time spent outdoors with her two children, exploring the community. She loves ASMR, and one of her favorite sounds to hear is a “thocky” keyboard being pressed.
