
Ariele Matkov
Ariele Matkov is a teacher of the deaf and the classroom coordinator at Listen and Talk. Ariele joined Listen and Talk in 2014. She attended The College of New Jersey’s five-year integrated bachelor’s and master’s program. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Elementary Education. Ariele’s interest in the field is a personal one, as she was born with a severe to profound hearing loss. Ariele enjoys sharing her experiences growing up and living with a hearing loss with all students and their families. She finds it rewarding to see a child’s world grow through language! In her spare time, she likes to explore the Pacific Northwest and curling up with a good book and her cat.
