Preschool Schedule and Tuition Rates
Half-Day Preschool:
- 2 ½ hours of school 4 days a week.
- Enrolled half-day students are 3-4 years old.
School Hours:
- Kirkland 9:0 0am – 11:30 am
- Seattle 8:30 am – 11:00 am
Full Day Preschool
- 6 hours of school four days a week.
- Enrolled full-day students are 3-4 years old.
- 8:45am – 2:15pm (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri).
School Hours:
- Kirkland 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Seattle 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
Full-Day Pre-K
- 6 hours of school 5 days a week
- 3½ hours on Wednesdays
- Pre-K students are 4½ to 5-years-old by August.

How many spots do we have for children with typical hearing?
Our Blended Classroom Program is well known throughout the region for having small preschool classroom sizes. We hold 2-3 spots a year in each class for children who have typical hearing.
How many spots are available for the 2024-2025 school year?
For the 2024-2025 school year, we have four spots available for children with typical hearing!
What are the tuition rates for children who have typical hearing?

What are the enrollment criteria?
Typically hearing students must be potty trained and be typically developing.
Is enrollment limited to the fall?

Is there an age limit for Listen and Talk's Blended Classroom Program?
We enroll children from age 3 up until they graduate or leave for Kindergarten around age 5 or 6.
Does this program operate year-round?
We follow Seattle Public Schools calendar with some additional non-student days. In July, we host a short summer program at our Kirkland, Washington campus. To view our 2023-2024 program calendars, click here.
What does the daily schedule look like?
Daily Schedule:
We provide a short, quiet break around midday with no nap time.
Four – day program:
- 8:30am – 2:30pm (Mon/Tues/Thurs/ Fri)
- No school on Wednesdays
- For children 3 – 4 years old by August
Five – day program:
- 8:30am – 2:30pm (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri)
- 8:30am – 12:00pm Weds
- For children 41/2 to 5 years old entering Kindergarten next school year
Does Listen and Talk offer before and after-school care?
No, we do not offer any before or after-school care.
Does my child need to know ASL to enroll at Listen and Talk?
All children in our Blended Classroom Program communicate using listening and spoken language – knowledge of sign language is not necessary.
